Spanish Dictionary + App Reviews

I have been using this app for years and suggesting it to others (I teach Spanish), but not anymore. The entire screen will suddenly be taken over by an ad, often with sound, and there is no way to stop it. Be prepared to mute your sound when you start it up. I am deleting it.

This is an AMAZING app! This is good especially if you want to learn spanish. It helps you string together sentences and has sentences already there for you! Get this app!

Used to use this app. It was great. Now, theres a screen blocking ad popping up every time you open the program and then some. Im switching to a different app...terrible. Terrible. Terrible

Didnt even have half the words I was looking for, Id rather use safari

Using this app as an advanced student of Spanish, I was shocked to see how difficult it is to utilize the information presented to you in this app. For example, when searching English to Spanish translations, the search returns a large list of untranslated Spanish words, with no indication as to which is more useful to which context. Hard to use, difficult to decipher, and plagued by non-stop, in-app advertising, this is certainly an avoidable app compared to the myriad of similar apps that are easier to use and understand. (p.s. Beware the positive reviews)

When I type in one word looking for a DEFINITION the app changes it to a PHRASE. A dictionary gives definitions. Not phrases.

The trial period ran out while I was trying to figure out how to use the app. About 20 seconds in it was asking me to pay for premium service. Im not even sure what the free service was.

I have been looking for a comprehensive Spanish dictionary for a long time. This just might be it. Once i verify that the slang words and phrases are accurate i will give it 5 stars.

Theres a decent amount of words in the vocabulary, and I like the ability to search English or Spanish. I dont like the very intrusive ads. And every time I come back to the app it brings me to the Word of the Day. It just slows down what Im trying to do. Otherwise a nice app, would recommend because an Internet connection isnt required.

The dictionary itself is good and more than sufficient. I think the pronunciation leaves a lot to be desired. Theres no real distinction between Castillion and Latin American pronunciation. Additionally, the pronunciation is garbled many times and unclear at other times. Inasmuch as you are trying to explain the pronunciation of the word, there was no reason not to exaggerate the sound a little. This is done very well in the French dictionary.

Click English tab type your word and Spanish words show up in relation to it. Example "home" and one of words showing is "casa". Click Spanish tab and type casa and it gives you more definitions, (and vise versa). This also helps me in writing Spanish songs. It gives me meanings, definitions, and just looking, I can find rhyming words in Spanish. Also gets you to the internet for more info. Great tool!!!

This app is horrible please make it accurate Ill keep this app downloaded and keep checking for accuration if its not accurate by 1 month Ill uninstall.

This app is horrible it is slow and definitely not worth anyones time. Dont get it. Doesnt translate any words at all.
